Hyderabad: The pleasant weather owing to showers in Telangana is expected to last for a couple of days.
The Met department has forecast moderate to heavy rains or thunder showers accompanied by hailstorms in all Telangana districts, except Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda.
On Sunday, all of North Telangana recorded temperatures in the twenties. In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature fell from 35ºC on Friday to 33ºC on Saturday and to 27.7ºC on Sunday. The lowest minimum temperature was 17ºC at Medak and Nizamabad. IMD-Hyderabad assistant meteorologist M. Narasimha Rao said, the change in weather was caused by upper air cyclonic circulation over Chhattisgarh, and moist south-easterly winds.
