Mumbai: Apart from stellar performances, what hooked spectators to their television set is the series of ‘Mauka Mauka’ commercials. The storyboardof the advertisement took a new turn ahead of India’s clash against West Indies on March 6.
Subtly, West Indian players Chris Gayle and Jason Holder are at the centre of the joke now. The commercial can be interpreted in many ways.

In some way, it is also building up to the Indian Premier League (IPL) starting in April. But the humour lies in the fact how West Indian cricketers depend on IPL to earn their living.
Or maybe it meant: “You better stick to IPL. World Cup is our game.”
