Apple announces event for March 9, Watch, Air likely to be launched

Apple has sent out invitations to the March 9 event, where the media will gather at the San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. We are expecting Apple to announce the launch date for the much-anticipated wearable by the tech giant. The event invite mentions ‘Spring forward’, which is an obvious reference to time—the Watch.

The Verge reports that Apple will start with the aluminium sport model, which could start upwards of $350 (approx Rs 21,000). However, Apple has not yet stated the prices for the regular models or the luxury ones. Previously, Apple had revealed that the Watch will start shipping from April 2015.

Apart from the Watch, Apple is also expected to unveil the new MacBook Air at the event. The San Francisco event will finally unveil the entire story. Stay tuned as we shall bring you details of the event in detail on March 9, 2015.
