Japanese business team at Sri City

The intent of their visit was to witness the existing infrastructure at Sri City
Hyderabad: A ten-member business delegation from the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA), led by Genichiro Shimada, visited Sri City on Wednesday.
The delegation included top officials of high profile companies and organisations of Japan including Panasonic, Hitachi, Daiwa, and Mitsubishi Research Institute.
The intent of their visit was to witness the existing infrastructure at Sri City and explore the possibility of setting up electronic industries. Welco-ming the delegation, Ravindra Sannareddy Managing Director, Sri City, said, “Consequent to the visit of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to Japan, the leading industries of Japan are showing keen interest in investing in Andhra Pradesh, and are deputing their representatives to visit the state and assess the business potential and investment opportunities. I feel happy to receive the members of JEITA delegation here.”
