Corporates still remain major investors in mutual funds
Share of individual investors has raised to 46.42 per cent in January 2015
Mumbai: While the share of individual investors in the total assets under management (AuM) of the mutual fund industry has climbed higher during this financial year, corporate investors still dominates and account for a significant portion of the industry’s assets.
According to the data available with the AMFI, the share of individual investors has raised to 46.42 per cent in January 2015 from 44.2 per cent in March 2014, the share of corporate investment in MF assets has come down to 53.58 per cent.
