Hyderabad: Printing solutions major Epson sees a big business opportunity in Andhra Pradesh as the government goes ahead with the construction of its new capital near Vijayawada. Speaking on the sidelines of launch of Epson’ s exclusive experience (e3) zone in Hyderabad, its director-sales (south and west) Ramprasad R.V. said, “With the creation of new state, the government has to start from scratch by setting up offices for different departments. This will create huge demand for printers, projectors and other office electronics which we plan to tap into.”
“We plan to work with AP and TS governments for providing affordable printing solutions to their departments. Generally, the departments use printing components of different companies. But if they use the products of a single company, the costs would come down considerably,” he added. It recently opened another e3 outlet in Vijayawada, totaling to 11 outlets.
