Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor turned a year older today. The hashtag Happy Birthday Shahid Kapoor has been trending on Twitter, with fans and friends posting birthday wishes and pictures of the star. As for his birthday plans, Shahid claimed that he had nothing in mind. And rightly so, a very few close friends of the star were seen driving in to his new home to join him ring in his birthday. Last night's party wasn't a grand celebration, but rather a small gathering. Shahid's younger brother was one of the first few guests to arrive with a friend.
Shahid shared a blurry picture on social networking site and captioned it as, “Hazy moment chilling and spinning some tunes with a few friends nicest evening bringing the bday in…#easyvibes (sic).”
Shahid has moved into his new plush apartment with his new puppy that he got himself this week. The star said that there is a lot of work yet to be done in his new home, that will get done eventually.
The actor has had an eventful and very rewarding year last year with the release of his film 'Haider' that bagged sever international awards. He is gearing up to play the role of an insomniac in the movie 'Shandaar', where he will star opposite Alia Bhatt.
