Hyderabad: Two people were killed and at least 13 were injured in a blast in the detonator manufacturing unit of IDL Chemicals, part of Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd in Kukatpally, on Monday evening.
Forensic experts said 1,000 detonators exploded after the initial blast when employees were disposing them at the manufacturing unit at 4 pm. Relatives of the victims gathered outside Apollo Health City in Jubilee Hills to get information about their loved ones.
