Guntur: Land prices in the capital region are decreasing, but they have been increasing outside the core capital area with demand increasing for places near the main road.
Interestingly, landowners are displaying ‘land not for sale’ boards on their lands. In Tullur, the price of an acre has dropped from Rs 1.75 crore to Rs 90 lakh. The price of land outside the core capital area has increased to Rs 1-2.5 crore an acre near Amaravati and Tadikonda. Similarly, the price of land on the Vijayawada-Guntur NH has also been increasing.
