Two LeT men killed in Kashmir Valley
Two terrorists were killed and were later identified as Abu Saad and Abu Noman
Srinagar: Two Lashkar-e-Tayyaba militants were on Saturday killed in a fierce gun battle with security forces in Rafiabad area of Jammu and Kashmir’s north-western Baramulla district. Officials said that J&K police’s counter-insurgency Special Operations Group (SOG) with Army and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation following specific information about the presence of militants in village Thake Gund.
“The terrorists opened fire on the search party triggering an encounter. Two terrorists were killed and were later identified as Abu Saad and Abu Noman, both residents of Pakistan and belonging to LeT outfit,” a statement issued by the police said.
