Names starting with early letters of alphabet are 'lucky' in love
Melbourne: A new research has revealed that if the first letter of your name comes before M in the alphabet, you can be lucky in love.
Scientists from Queen Mary University of London claim those with names whose first letter is earlier in the alphabet are likelier to have success with their romantic endeavours, News.com.au reported.
The study suggests that the key to finding love online is all in a name, adding that an attractive online dating profile picture is as beneficial to finding love as names starting with the letters A to M.
Researcher Khalid Khan said that "A" always comes first and people are drawn to those at the top of any listing.
Khan added that applied to online dating this means that those at the top of the listing get first bite of the attention from potential love-interests and so have a higher chance of being matched.
Khan noted that the findings are not limited to dating as Amazon and Apple, successful companies, begin with A, which does not mean things lower down in the alphabet don't have a chance as Zara is a successful company too, but on average their chances are lower.
The study is published in the Evidence Based Medicine journal.
