Mumbai: Abhinay Deo made his directorial debut with Delhi Belly and went on to direct the famous television series ‘24’. The director was prepping up to shoot his next untitled project with Irrfan Khan and Aditi Rao Hydari. However according to reports, the film has now been shelved.
The film was announced last year when Abhinay came on board with producer Rakesh Roshan. While the film was in the pre-production stage, the makers decided to hold the project due to some budget issues.
Irrfan has been shooting for Sanjay Gupta’s upcoming film 'Jazbaa' with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He will also be sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone for Shoojit Sircar's 'Piku'. Aditi, on the other hand, will be seen in Abhishek Kapoor's 'Fitoor'.
