Hyderabad: AP Home department has attached Rs 133 crore worth of properties of Abhaya Gold Infratech, which had allegedly duped the public after collecting deposits.
After the Crime Investigation Department submitted a report on the alleged fraud, the Home department issued interim orders on Friday attaching the properties under the Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act.
CID alleged that K. Srinivas, along with other accused, floated Sri Abhaya Gold Infratech India Private Limited.
The accused collected huge amounts from the public by introducing schemes, 5 criminal cases were registered against them in 2013 Section 3, 4, 5 of the AP Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishment Act.
