Kristen Stewart becomes first American actress to win 'Frenc Oscars'
A huge leap for the star often criticized for her 'inability to act'
Washington: Kristen Stewart has gone on to do something no other American has ever done before! The 'Twilight' star became the first American actress to pick up a Cesar Award for the Best Supporting Actress, for her role in the film 'Clouds of Sils Maria'.
The movie was written and directed by Olivier Assayas and has Juliette Binoche and Chloe Grace Moretz in the lead roles.
The film premiered last year at the Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for six Césars, including lead actress for Binoche, best director for Assayas and best film.
It was also a big night for Oscar nominated 'Timbuktu' as it swept seven awards of the eight categories including Best Film, Best Original Screenplay,Best Sound and Best Score.
The anual Cesar Awards are known as the French Oscars.
