Hyderabad: Three more deaths and 24 new cases of the H1N1 virus have been reported in Telangana.
"In the current year from January 1 till February 19, 3,649 samples have been tested, out of which 1,186 were found to be positive and number of deaths because of other complications and swine flu as on date are 49," a bulletin on swine flu here said.
According to the government, the number of deaths due to swine flu stood at 46 on Thursday.
According to the government bulletin on swine flu, the number of cases that are testing positive have seen a decline graph in the past six days.
However, citizens are advised to take precautions and report to hospital on appearance of the first symptoms of the virus like high-fever, sneezing, cough and body pain, it said.
Sufficient stock of medicines is available at different hospitals and there are also enough testing kits, it said.
Homoeopathy doctors have advised that homeo medicines can be taken as a preventive measure under the guidance of a homoeopath.
