Varun Tej, son of Nagababu, who made his debut a few months back with Mukunda, is all set to star in a multi-starrer. The remake of Bangalore Days has Sharwanand as one of the leads and according to a source, producer Dil Raju has approached Varun Tej to play one of the other leads in the film.
The film has three lead actors and the casting is completely different for Telugu and Tamil. For the Telugu version, Sharwanand and Varun Tej are close to being finalised while the third lead is yet to be decided.
The producer may approach Nithya Menon to play the female lead. The film will be directed by Venu Sriram instead of the earlier choice Bommarillu Bhaskar.
“I will announce all the details about the film in one week,” says producer Dil Raju adding that they had approached Samantha initially but her participation was never confirmed, as reported by the media. In the Tamil version, Rana and Arya are the lead actors and Sri Divya the female lead.
