Mumbai: Drool alert! The director of ‘Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice’, Zack Snyder has released the first image of Aquaman via Twitter.
As compared to the comic book character, this new and improved bulked up superhero of the seas has surfaced online with Jason Momoa, taking up the trident, metal and tribal tattoos that come with the part. Most famous for his role in the television series ‘Game of Thrones’, Momoa looks a lot like an ocean-dwelling version of Khal Drogo.
Snyder's ‘Unite the Seven’ tagline has fans divided over the reference he was trying to make. While some think it refers to the seven seas, other think it hints at the seven member Justice League team.
It is believed that the director who is busy filming the upcoming Batman vs. Superman, will introduce the superhero squad through the movie. However, fans will have to wait a bit longer as these characters will only play a minimal role in the film.
A picture of this dark, new beefed up Aquaman, is all we’ll need till the year rolls by. In the coming weeks, fans will finally be treated to a teaser trailer of the film.
