Hyderabad: The issue of sharing expenditure on security forces by undivided Andhra Pradesh during the Telangana agitation between 2009 and 2014 has sparked off yet another controversy between the TS and AP governments.
The Centre had deployed a large number of security personnel to maintain law and order during the agitation.
Nearly Rs 1,200 crore was spent and the Centre had asked TS to bear Rs 700 crore and AP Rs 500 crore. However, AP said that the entire force was utilised in Hyderabad and TS districts and TS must bear the expenses.
