The TRS has no such plans to join the NDA or the Modi Cabinet

Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti has no plans to join the Modi government, energy minister G. Jagadish Reddy said here on Tuesday.
“Reports appearing in a section of the media that the TRS is likely to join the NDA government are wrong. The TRS has no such plans to join the NDA or the Modi Cabinet. Infact, no such discussions took place,” Mr Reddy said.
He said regardless of whether it is the UPA or the NDA, in power, at the Centre, the Central government has to support the states.
“We will certainly have a friendly relationship with the Centre. The state needs funds for several mega projects. Our Chief Minister met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought his support for the projects,” he said.
