‘Will break world record’: New flagship’s specifications leaked
With the entry of major Chinese giants such as OPPO, GIONEE, XIAOMI and OnePlus in the Indian market, smartphone manufacturers are facing the heat and seeing huge downward marching graphs. However, they don’t seem to take competition lightly. Wickedleak, one if India’s emerging smartphone manufacturer, sent out a post on their Facebook group page mentioning that they are about to break a ‘world record’ with a new flagship smartphone. The smartphone is said to break the world record with a four-day battery life.
Wickedleak’s CEO Aditya Mehta’s post on their Facebook group post stated that the company is planning to break the world record with a new smartphone that sports a large battery life and will be cost-effective.
According to Wickedleak’s official Facebook page, the company sent out a message that the ‘TitanOfSmartphones is coming’. The post mentions the Titan 4 as the flagship smartphone and will be sporting a look similar to the iPhone.
The teaser post also goes ahead riding on the number 4. Rumours state that the device will feature a 4x4 camera (16MP), 4x4 storage (16GB), 4 GB of RAM and a few other areas, which are related to four times the value. However, while some may be true, others are just speculations.
According to our inside sources, a few specifications have leaked out confirming that the Titan ‘4’ will sport a huge 5350mAh battery, which has the capacity to power the smartphone up to four days. Our sources also confirmed that the smartphone will feature a fingerprint scanner, an NFC chip and the price for the smartphone to be kept below Rs 15,000. Phew! A smartphone with a 5350mAh battery, NFC, fingerprint scanner and a full HD display for under Rs 15,000 is a huge deal.
More information has come our way regarding the Titan 4. Our sources have added that the smartphone will sport a 5-inch full HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and will sport 16GB or internal storage. Additionally, the information also revealed that the Titan 4 will also feature a 13MP primary camera (with a Sony sensor) along with an 8MP front camera.
UPDATE: We have more information about the Titan 4. Leaked information revealed that the smartphone will run off an MTK 8-core chipset and the internal battery is capable of charging other devices using the OTG feature.
UPDATE: Sources tipped us that the Titan 4 can fully charge in under 1.5 hours.
Will the device be slim or will the large battery rating increase the smartphone’s profile? We are yet to watch as the Indian smartphone manufacturer is yet to unveil the device this week. Wickedleak was to launch the device last week, but our sources mentioned that Cricket World Cup was the main reason for the delay.
