Mumbai: Aamir Khan is currently gearing up for his next film ‘Dangal’ helmed by Nitesh Tiwari. Several reports suggested that the actor’s good friend Kangana Ranaut had been roped in to play his daughter in the film.
However in a recent report in DNA, Kangana denied being offered a role in ‘Dangal’. She was quoted as saying, “Dangal was never offered to me. I’d love to work with Mr Khan sometime soon, but we aren’t working on Dangal together.”
‘Dangal’ is a biopic based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, the father of Indian women wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. Mahavir coached Geeta to win many accolades, including the Bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Aamir Khan as well has expressed his desire to work with the ‘Queen’ actress; it will be interesting to see these two talented stars come together for a film soon.
