Funding to start-ups may go up 500 per cent
There are more than 30 national research labs in Hyderabad that don't get noticed
Hyderabad: The rate of funding for start-ups in Hyderabad this year could be close to 500 per cent more compared to last year, if experts are to believed.
Speaking on the sidelines of the launch of a directory for start-ups in the city, Hyderabad Labs VP (products) and center head, progress software Ramesh Loganathan says, “The amount of investments in start-ups could scale up by 500 per cent this year as we will be having more number of national level events in the city.” Cyient EC, B.V.R. Mohan Reddy said, “There are more than 30 national research labs in Hyderabad that do not get noticed. We need to integrate entrepreneurs and the labs in order to bring out the best.”
