The court imposed fines of Rs 50 on 47 other accused

Hyderabad: Since their inception, the SHE Teams have caught about 113 persons for eve teasing and harassment. Of which, 56 persons were minors. AS many as 57 persons were produced before the court in Nampally, and 10 of them were convicted for two or three days. A fine was also imposed on them.
The court imposed fines of Rs 50 on 47 other accused. About 100 SHE Teams are active in the city, the police said. Additional commissioner of police, (Crimes, SIT) Swati Lakra said minors were counselled in the presence of their parents at the Child Line Centre by the officials and professional counsellors. Majority of the accused are students studying intermediate and degree.
