Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh: A pregnant woman was allegedly raped by a sub-inspector and another person in Badaut area here following which the cop has been suspended, police said on Friday.
The incident took place last night when sub-inspector (SI) Harendra, who was in an inebriated state, and another unidentified person went to the woman's house and allegedly raped her, they said.
Based on the woman's complaint, the accused SI has been arrested and suspended while search is on to nab the other accused, SP Sharad Sachan said.
