From hitmakers Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Scherzinger to a host of Bollywood celebs including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Shilpa Shetty, Manish Malhotra and others, the big day of oil tycoon Sanjay Hinduja and designer Anusuya Mahtani this week was an absolute hit.The celebrations in Udaipur lasted three whole days. Jennifer Lopez, who arrived on February 12 with on-off boyfriend Casper Smart, performed a high-energy spectacle for the hundreds of guests who had gathered.
The wedding party was so smitten by Jennifer that they couldn’t stop tweeting and posting photos from the do. “This woman is a whole other level of AWESOME,” wrote Sophie Choudry as she posted on a clip of Lopez’s performance on her Instagram account. Lopez is not known to charge anything below $2 million for a performance and that means the happy Hindujas must have shelled out nearly Rs 12 crore to bring the Latino sensation and her crew to India.
Meanwhile, former lead singer of Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Scherzinger went about bombing the social networks with her “beautiful” saree. The singer-turned-actress was joined by B’town besties Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh on stage as they danced to Tune Maari Entry from their film, Gunday.
This is 50-year-old Sanjay Hinduja’s first marriage and designer Anusuya’s second. Anusuya is the sister of designer Nandita Mahtani. Also, according to reports, Dabok airport officials (in Udaipur) forced many of the guests to park planes at airports in Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Delhi. The Udaipur airport was not equipped to serve the 123 chartered planes, including 20 from abroad, which were ferrying over 700 guests to the wedding venue.
