Revealed: Samsung Galaxy S6 design leaks with transparent cases
Samsung will unveil its next, most-awaited flagship in the Galaxy line at the MWC 2015, held in Barcelona, Spain. The flagship Galaxy S6 has been rumoured to sport high-end hardware, but no confirmation about the exact specifications has been revealed. However, Samsung is said to have dropped the Snapdragon 810 chipset for its own Exynos SoC, citing heating issues.
Lately, many speculations have made it on the internet, pointing out various designs and looks of the Samsung Galaxy S6. However, Weibo, a Chinese portal has shared some cases for the Samsung flagship, which reveals the looks and design of the Galaxy S6. Apparently, the images show that the cases are transparent and the entire smartphone can be seen through, giving away the design of the Samsung Galaxy S6 before the launch event.
According to the images, the Samsung Galaxy S6 sports a protruding camera, rumoured to be a 20MP, and alongside is a dual flash LED. The top seems to have a centralised headphone port and an IR blaster besides it. The volume control rocker and the power button take their places as usual, on the left and right of the handset. The front shows a rounded home button and three sensors near the earpiece. Lastly, the Galaxy S6, according to the photo, sports the speakers on the bottom instead of the rear panel. The images also reveal that the Samsung Galaxy will sport a slim, 6.91mm profile, excluding the protruding camera.
This is not the first time the design has been revealed by a third party. Spigen, Ewill and Versus are a few other accessory manufacturers, who have also revealed the design via the Galaxy S6 cases.
