Salman Khan to script the sequel of Kick
Salman Khan has a found himself a new role as a scriptwriter for the sequel to his 2013 blockbuster Kick. Titled Devil, we hear the story idea of the sequel came from Salman. Says a source close to producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala, “Sajid had no idea when he’d make Devil. He had decided he would not even think about it until he found a really good subject.”
It was a casual conversation between Salman and Sajid when Salman got an idea which Sajid grabbed. “It was just a one-liner that Salman threw at Sajid. That was it. Sajid not only loved the idea but he also asked Salman to write the screenplay,” adds the source.
This is not the first time that Salman will be involved with the scripting of his film. He had written the story for Chandramukhi co-starring Sridevi in which Salman played the lead and also produced it. Devil is expected to go on the floors at the end of 2016. It won’t star Randeep Hooda or Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
