Watch: NASA reveals the other side of the moon which never faces Earth

We all have learned that the only one side of the Moon faces the Earth. Even when in orbit with the Earth spinning around its axis, the Moon has never shown the other side of its face to us. NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has been transmitting terabytes of data of the Moon back to Earth. These images used by NASA’s LRO scientists to create detailed maps of the other side of the Moon.

In the media below, NASA has unveiled a detailed video of what the Moon would look like from the other side. The images reveal that the Moon is witness to the oldest and largest impacts from the solar system.
