Karachi: Pakistan's left-arm fast-bowler Junaid Khan might not be playing in the cricket World Cup 2015 due to an injury, but he is still having an exciting life off the pitch, as wedding bells rang for the cricketer on Monday.

Earlier, it had been revealed by Junaid's cousin Arif that it was an arranged marriage. Like Junaid, his in-laws also hail from a village in Swabi, and originally from Gohati village, they are now settled abroad, The Express Tribune reported.
The paceman's father-in-law, Matiullah Khan, is also a cricketer who made quite a name for himself in the Swabi circuit. Matiullah was reportedly among the pioneers who had started cricket as a formal game in the district and has also worked as the general secretary of Swabi Cricket Association for some time before he chose to relocate to another country.

Junaid was injured at the World Cup training camp in Lahore, just before the New Zealand tour and could not recover in time, with Rahat Ali being chosen as his replacement, the report added.
