Hyderabad: Former home minister K. Prabhakar Reddy got into trouble with his neighbours in Jubilee Hills over a land issue. Both the parties have lodged complaints against each other with the Jubilee Hills police. However, police is yet to book a case.
One Mona Reddy, the daughter of Madhusudhan Reddy, a land owner in Jubilee Hills Road No. 45, has lodged a complaint alleging that the former minister has encroached their land. She alleged that Mr Prabhakar Reddy also threatened her when she questioned him.
However, Mr Prabhakar Reddy has lodged a complaint claiming that his boundary wall was demolished by the opposite party. “The land is a disputed property, and the complainant stated that the former minister encroached their land by constructing an illegal boundary wall,” said a police official from Jubilee Hills. “We are yet to book a case on this issue, since an inquiry is going on,” he added.
