Aditya Chopra advances 'Dum Laga Ki Haisha' date for Anushka Sharma

Mumbai: After postponing the release date of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Fan’ and giving it to Karan Johar for the release of his film ‘Brothers, Aditya Chopra has made yet another date change in one of his films.

According to a report in DNA, Yash Raj Films has advanced the release date of its film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’. Initially the film was to release on March 6, but now the date had been advanced to February 27.

According to the report, Adi advanced the date of the film as Anushka’s film ‘NH 10’ releases on the same date. Anushka got her first big break in the YRF film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

A spokesperson confirmed the same and was quoted as saying, “The distribution team strongly felt that March 6 was a better date to release our film because it is Holi weekend but we chose a prior release date for emotional reasons. Both Anushka Sharma and now Bhumi Pednekar are launches of Aditya Chopra and we did not want both their films to clash.”
