The crime team of Rein Bazaar police has solved a two-month old burglary case
Hyderabad: The crime team of Rein Bazaar police has solved a two-month old burglary case and has nabbed a three-member gang of burglars including a minor boy for the offence on Saturday.
Booty worth Rs 13.7 lakh was recovered from them. The minor plotted and robbed his uncle’s house, cops said. The arrested men are Ziaullah Khan alias Arshadullah Khan alias Chutney, 25, who runs a kirana store and is a resident of Yakuthpura, Syed Touseef ur Rehman alias Touseef, 19, a BTech first year student and a resident of Bada Bazaar in Yakuthpura.
The other accused was not named by the police as he is a minor. Mr S. Gangadhar, the assistant commissioner of police of Mirchowk division said the juvenile stole a bunch of keys about two months ago from his paternal uncle Mohd. Masiuddin’s house at Shoukat Junj ki Devdi while they were busy preparing for a wedding. He and Zialullah Khan plotted burglary and on January 26 broke into the house.
“They entered the premises from the terrace by breaking open the back door when the residents had gone for the wedding. With the keys they opened the bedroom door. They broke open the wooden cupboards and stole cash and gold,” said Mr Gangadhar.
Meanwhile, Touseef assisted the accused in executing the plan by keeping a watch on the surroundings. Following an alert the cops arrested the gang and recovered about 220 grams of gold and cash worth Rs 7.2 lakh. In all goods worth Rs 13.7 lakh was recovered from them. They were produced before court by the police.
