Buzz is that at a recent awards function, it was Alia’s well-planned PR strategy that went on overdrive to make her look like a bimbo. The smart actress, who has been sweeping the awards this year, reportedly said that as long as the cameras focus on her and she is the talk of town, she is unapologetic of her so-called strategy.
“She doesn’t really have a film coming any time soon. Shandaar will take some time and what better way to stay in the news than play up an image that she got maximum flak for. Also, her newly developed relationship with former co-star Sidharth Malhotra keeps making news every now and then,” says a rival actress, with a smirk.
But Alia remains unperturbed by all talk. She seems most comfortable answering general knowledge questions from the paparazzi on the green carpet at award functions. Clearly, she’s aware that her ‘I-am-dumb’ image is working to her advantage and keeping her in the limelight. Now, would you call this a dumb move? Think again.
