The Samsung Galaxy S6 shares designs with the Apple iPhone 6?

Leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S6 show designs borrowed from an iPhone 6

Samsung Galaxy S6, the next flagship from the Korean giant is all set to be unveiled to the world in March 2015 at the MWC that will be held at Barcelona in Spain. Though the handset is already and the launch dates are revealed, the Galaxy S6 design or look is yet not officially out. However, leaks and rumours have it all. A new leak shows that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will sport designs and looks similar to an iPhone 6.

Chinese website IT 168 posted some imaged from a leaked source, which shows the chassis of the Samsung Galaxy S6. The photos show a metal frame from a batch of under-production handsets which has a taste of an iPhone 6. The photos that show the unfinished part reveals that the bottom sports an iPhone-styled speaker grille and USB port. The frame design also reveals that the battery would be a non-removable type and the fingerprint sensor-cum-home button will sport a rounded rectangular look.

Going by the frame shown in the photos, it seems like the Samsung Galaxy S6 will feature a 5-inch or a 5.1-inch display. Previous rumoured specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S6 state that the smartphone will use a 5.1-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution. Below the hood, Samsung will power the S6 with an Exynos chipset rather than the Snapdragon 810 chipset. Other specifications include 3GB of RAM and a 20MP camera.

At this point, none of the rumours and leaked images can be confirmed as official. The final look and specifications of the flagship can only be confirmed at the day of the launch at the MWC 2015, when Samsung will show the masterpiece to the world.
