Brett Lee signs on as Ireland bowling coach
Sydney: Former Australia fast bowler Brett Lee has signed on as Ireland's bowling coach for the Cricket World Cup.

Lee, who recently retired from all cricket, said "my allegiance is obviously with Australia, but it wouldn't be fair of me not to take the opportunity to try and pass on some knowledge to some younger players coming through."
Ireland upset test-playing nations at the 2007 and 2011 World Cups and hopes to do so again in the upcoming edition in Australia and New Zealand from Feb. 14.
Ireland coach Phil Simmons said Lee's familiarity with Australian pitches and conditions will benefit the team's bowlers.
