Mumbai: The Pakistan cricket team – on the field – hasn’t been able to impress against New Zealand in the ongoing series but that doesn’t stop the players from uniting, building companionship ahead of the World Cup. It seems the superstar of the team, Shahid Afridi, has become too close with a younger player, Ahmed Shehzad.

Why?

No less than a Bollywood movie poster (very close to Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai), the two cricketers have been on a selfie spree. The blue and yellow outfit on the green grass is reminiscent of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the 1998 blockbuster.

Even on field, Afridi went to the extent of trying out a bite. You don’t believe? Watch this, then.

Nonetheless, be it at the airport, inside a flight or a conference, Shehzad doesn’t miss framing moments with Afridi.

On top of that, the forever 18-year-old Afridi has finally grown up, so let’s hope the blend of youth and experience helps Pakistan win the World Cup.
