Samsung to launch Flagship Galaxy S6 on March 1 at the MWC, Barcelona
Samsung, the Korean tech giant, has been unveiling flagship smartphones every year, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, and this time it is the Galaxy S6. The world is waiting to see what Samsung can do with their next smartphone, especially after the launch of the curved-display Edge products.
Samsung has sent out teaser invitations for the MWC event. The invitation spells out the big launch on the 1St of March, 2015, at the world’s largest and the industry’s biggest trade show in Spain.
The invitation reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S6 could be interestingly curved, probably on both sides. It seems a reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, which the tech giant released last year.
The Galaxy S6, Samsung’s flagship this time, is rumoured to drop the Qualcomm Snapdragon Chipset for their own Exynos 7420 SoC. The main reason for dropping the Snapdragon 810 chipset were reported heating issues. Other specifications that were leaked earlier include the Galaxy S6 sporting a 5.1 or a 5.3-inch display with a fingerprint sensor, 4GB of RAM and a 20MP camera.
Just a month more, and we shall get to see what the Korean tech giant has kept in store for its fans.
