Eamcet row: Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to conduct tests separately
AP government had first warned the Telangana government of ‘legal action’
Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government, in a Cabinet meeting on Monday, decided to conduct its own Eamcet. Other common entrance test (Cets) for admission to various professional courses will also be conducted separately along the lines of Telangana.
With the Telangana government remaining adamant on its stand on conducting its own Eamcet and other CETs and vehemently opposing the common Eamcet that had been proposed by AP, the AP government was left with no choice but to conduct its own Eamcet.
The AP government had first warned the Telangana government of ‘legal action’ but then softened it’s stand.
