Actor Rajasekhar, known for his police characters, is all set for a comeback with Gaddam Gang and three more of his films will follow in close succession. And what’s more… he has decided to do character roles as well!
Gaddam Gang is all set to hit the screens this Friday. “I am very confident that I will taste success with this film,” says Rajasekhar who has not had a hit for more than five years now. “In between, I did work in a few films, but those were routine ones no variety and no entertainment. I chose very similar, serious films so they didn’t make an impact,” says the actor. “Now I know where I went wrong. Hence, the search for different subjects,” he says.
The actor has been approached for character roles in many films. “Yes, many offers are there, but I want to give a successful film first and then only take on the character roles. Otherwise it will look like I took on character roles because success was eluding me,” he says.
He added that he has never done films for money, but for love. “I love all the characters that I have played till now. I have never done any film or any particular scene that I did not like,” he says.
