Theft at M Murali Mohan’s son’s home
A ruby necklace, a gold ring, necklace and up to Rs 10,000 in cash were stolen
Hyderabad: Cash and jewellery worth Rs 6 lakh was stolen from the house of actor-politician M. Murali Mohan’s son M. Ram Mohan.
A guest of Mr Ram Mohan, who was staying at the former’s residence at Film Nagar in Banjara Hills, found her valuables missing while packing her bags for the return journey, cops said. According to the Banjara Hills police, Nachaya from Sri Lanka came to Mr Ram Mohan’s house a week ago. She had to attend a wedding and was staying with her family.
“The guest had a return flight and she was packing her bags. She noticed that cash and ornaments from her pouch were missing,” said G. Rambabu, additional inspector Banjara Hills.
A ruby necklace, a gold ring, her daughter’s necklace and up to Rs 10,000 in cash were stolen. Cops suspect that one of the servants in the house could be behind the crime. “We are questioning all the servants in the house and picking up suspects,” Mr Rambabu said.
