Mumbai: We recently reported that Ajay Devgn’s directorial ‘Shivay’ has been shelved. But when one door closes another one opens. The actor is now gearing up for another film.
According to a report in Absolute India, the actor will begin working on his next untitled project which will be directed by Nashikant Kamat of ‘Lai Bhaari’ fame.
The film is reportedly a remake of a south film. The pre-production stage of the film has kicked off and now Nishikant is finalising the full cast of the film.
A source was quoted as saying, “Ajay is aware Nishikant’s work and impressed with his work. The script of this film compelled the actor to come on board when he met Nishikant last month. Busy in the pre-production of this film, Nishikant is also in the process of finalizing the entire cast of the film.”
The source also added, “Nishikant’s film with Ajay Devgn is a remake of a south film. He seems to have kept his period film on hold for this film.”
Nishikant recently wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film with John Abraham titled ‘Rocky Handsome’.
