Hyderabad: A 20-year old woman from Hyderabad, who allegedly went to Turkey to join ISIS, but dropped the idea and came back, was interrogated by the police. The woman changed her mind after reaching Turkey and did not go to her original destination in Iraq. Police officials said that the incident occurred two months ago.
Officials said that the woman had been residing in Qatar for the last 10 years, and she left for Turkey from there. “She was influenced by another woman staying in her apartment, and they decided to join IS together.

However, after they went to Turkey, they changed their mind and she came to Hyderabad,” said a source from Telangana police. The girl changed her mind after getting to know about the ground situation in Iraq.
Hyderabad police commissioner Mr Mahender Reddy said, “The incident happened around two months ago. We have not brought her back to the city. She came back on her own,” Reddy said.
