Hyderabad: The Telangana government’s plan to shift the Secretariat to Erragadda has raised many eyebrows and questions. Government insiders say the move is aimed at competing with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s plan of building a riverfront capital near Vijayawada.
Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao is planning a lakefront project with skyscrapers facing Hussainsagar near the existing Secretariat.
