Miscreants threw stone at Sardar Vallabhai Patel National Police Academy

Hyderabad: Miscreants threw stones on the firing range store building complex of the Sardar Vallabhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA). The incident which occurred a couple of days ago came to light when the Academy authorities approached the police and lodged a complaint on Thursday.

SI G. Narender said one Abhijeet Kumar, deputy commandant, CISF of the SVPNPA lodged a complaint stating that on January 23 some persons threw stones at the short firing range complex from outside the perimeter wall. “The window glasses of the store room located on the first floor shattered. The miscreants again threw stones on January 25 and this time the window glass of the toilet block broke,” said Mr Narender.

Officials said in both incidents some marbles were recovered from the spot. “When the building was inspected apart from damages to the window a hole resembling a gunshot was found on the window of one of the store rooms,” the SI said.
