Kangna Ranaut we hear, has turned down an award at an international ceremony. The Queen actress explained that she doesn’t believe in awards and neither the big moolah nor the international platform could lure her into attending the ceremony. It is a move inspired by Bollywood’s original award-shunning actor Aamir Khan, the actress had earlier stated.
This apparently is not the only award that the actress has declined. According to a source, a lot of the recent award functions wanted to felicitate Kangna for her performance in Queen, but since she chooses to stay away from them, they ended up giving it to those who would make the effort to put in an appearance. “The credibility of most awards is now at stake anyway.
Besides, the actor needs to be physically present to accept the award being given to him or her. Since Kangna is never around, giving her an award becomes difficult. Kangy’s rival Deepika Padukone who recently won an award at a function dedicated it to Kangna too.
