H1N1 kills 4; 22 new cases found in Telangana
It has taken the total number of cases to 526 in Telangana
Hyderabad: Four people died due to H1N1 at Gandhi Hospital and Osmania General Hospital on Wednesday, taking the death toll to 32 in January 2015. Two patients at OGH a 55-year-old from Rahipura and a 90-year-old woman from Kishanbagh died on Wednesday. At Gandhi Hospital, an 80-year-old and a 50-year-old succumbed.
Meanwhile, 22 fresh cases of swine flu have been detected, taking the total number of cases to 526 in the state. Everyday, over 100 blood samples are sent to the Institute of Preventive Medicines for testing. The blood samples are taking too long to test and the results are declared only late at night.
