Watch: ISIS militants behead man in middle of a street for disobeying their rules

Syria: ISIS militants beheaded a man in the middle of the street in Al-Shadadi, a town in north-east Syria on Monday for disobeying their Islamist rules.

The video shows the man pinned down by four armed militants, struggling for his life and screaming for help, while the bystanders did not dare not speak.

The executioner is seen holding a sword as militants are trying to immobilise the victim.

Dozens of bystanders watched the cruel incident but none dared to intervene or help the victim.

Last week, the United Nations human rights watchdog had warned that Islamic State militants in Syria and Iraq had been meting out 'cruel and inhuman' punishments to victims accused of violating their interpretation of sharia law.
