Youth found dead on Outer Ring Road

Parents see foul play in death of son

Hyderabad: A 24-year-old B.Tech graduate was found dead on Outer Ring Road at Keesara early on Tuesday morning beside a crashed bike.

Though the police initially suspected that the victim G. Madhu had been killed in a road mishap, his parents expressed doubts since his body was found without any major injuries. Madhu was also not wearing a shirt.

He had gone to a party at his friend’s house in Nagaram on Monday night as the latter had returned from the USA.

Police found few injuries on his leg and hip, and blood was coming from his mouth.

According to Madhu’s friends, more than 10 people had partied at Nagaram till Monday midnight, and Madhu left on his Pulsar bike without telling anybody.

“He was drunk, we did not allow him to go. As people passed out, he left on his bike without wearing a shirt,” a friend told the police.

His friends had also searched for him. They even had called him on his phone. “He said he was in ECIL, and we went searching for him there, but we could not find him,” a friend told the investigation officer. However, at that time, Madhu was in Keesara. Police officials said that Madhu must have left the place after 1 am and he had died before 2 am.

Meanwhile, Madhu’s parents said that there were contradictions in his friends’ versions. His father Mr Ramulu demanded an Inquiry into the role of his friends in the death.

“His friends said that Madhu left his shirt at the room, and he was too drunk to put it on,” said Keesara Police sub- inspector Mr J. Venkat Reddy.

Madhu, a resident of Bandaravirala village in Hayatnagar, had graduated B.Tech two years ago but had not got an IT job. The police has booked a case under Section IPC 304A.
