Shruti Sodhi has moved from being a news anchor in real life to playing one in Patas.
With Patas turning out to be a hit, all eyes are now on the debutant female lead Shruti Sodhi. Before this film, Shruti has done three Punjabi films.

“That was amazing, I told all my friends about how encouraging the audience here is. I have seen people throw flowers on the screen and dance with the songs. It is exciting and I am thrilled,” she says.
About her future plans, she says, “I want to do good films and I don’t want to work for just money.” When asked, if she is ready to wear a bikini, she says if the character demands it, she is ready. “I can’t wear jeans and swim in a swimming pool,” she says....
