The Baahubali team has finally completed the film’s shooting on January 24, after a long, two-year shooting stint. Directed by S.S. Rajamouli, with Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamannaah in the lead, this big budget, period action drama, is now in post-production.
“Rajamouli, will now shift his focus to post-production work as well as two more songs that remain to be shot,” said the press release. Post-production work has been going on for a while now, in parallel with the shoot, and a major portion of work has either been completed or is at an advanced stage. All artistes have already completed dubbing for Baahubali Part 1 in both Telugu and Tamil.
Another crucial aspect of the film’s post-production process is the Visual Effects work. From the very beginning, Baahubali’s production has been designed keeping VFX in mind.
The National Award winning Srinivas Mohan is heading the graphics team and the work is going on at a fast pace in more than six different VFX Studios in India, Hong Kong and the United States.
